Welcome to Sampling the Good Life!
When my husband and I decided to have children, I knew I wanted to be a stay at home mom AND a work at home mom. I wanted to be able to earn extra money for the little things. I wanted to be able to contribute to our household finances while staying at home.
Working from home is a challenge for anyone. Now, that my 3 boys are in school all day, it is still challenging to work from home and still have time for homework and just time to play together. However, with the flexibility of working from home I am able to go on field trips, attend parties and even run our school store two days each week. Plus, I can help out their teachers when they need an extra hand.
Whether you are looking for a full-time income or simply some extra cash for Christmas or even a night out, it is possible. AND you can do it from the comfort of your own home, around your schedule and your life. It doesn't matter what your education level or skill level is, there is a way for you to achieve your goals and dreams.
If you are not sure what you are looking for, make sure to spend some time looking around so you can get an idea of what will work for you. You will find home businesses (which will usually require a start up cost that is tax deductible), home jobs and even ways to earn money from survey sites. The ideas are endless!
Just a reminder: The tax benefits with having a home business are just an added way to keep more of your money in your pockets. Just by setting up a "home office" in your home you can begin to deduct a percentage of rent/mortgage, utilities, phone, internet, etc. Of course, you should always consult a tax professional so you can take advantage of everything available to you.
